Dual Rinse® HEDP
Mild chelator for endodontic irrigating solutions
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- USE: Dual Rinse® HEDP is an additive for endodontic irrigating solutions.
Dual Rinse® HEDP should be added to chemically neutral or sodium
hypochlorite rinsing solutions. - The dentist will decide on the indication and use of Dual Rinse® HEDP
- CONTRAINDICATIONS: None known.
- WARNINGS: None known.
- PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:

- USE OF Dual Rinse® HEDP
- The cups (mixing cups) included in the packaging should be sterilized in
the autoclave in accordance with dental specifications (“Preparation of
sterile medical products”). - Place 10 ml of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) into the sterilized cup.
- Open a capsule and place the powder from one capsule of Dual Rinse®
HEDP into the sterilized mixing cup with NaOCl. - Stir the Dual Rinse® HEDP powder with a sterile instrument until it has
completely dissolved. - Use the NaOCl / Dual Rinse® HEDP solution in accordance with the
endodontic rinsing protocol.

- HANDLING: This product is intended for dental use only. If the capsules
have been opened, discard the material. - STORAGE: Store in a dry place.
- TOXICITY: The powder is caustic.
Do not swallow, inhale or bring it into contact with your eyes or other
mucous membranes.
If it gets into your eyes or mucous membranes, rinse with plenty of water. - DISPOSAL: Dual Rinse® HEDP can be safely disposed of with household
waste. Do not put it into the sewage system.
Warning: It is important to comply with the instructions for use!
Store in a cool, dry place.
Discard opened capsules.
Do not use after the expiration date (= EXP).
